Mrs. Madey's Class Novels

I am a reading teacher at a rural Wisconsin middle school. I have been tasked with fostering a love of reading in my students, in addition to helping them become more critical readers. In order to accomplish these goals, I would like to implement literature circles in my 8th grade reading class focused on high-interest and high-quality literary texts. These texts all fall into the category of Dystopian literature, a genre that is quite popular with middle school students. I am hoping to purchase at least six copies of the following novels for my students to read and enjoy: 

Divergent by Veronica Roth
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Legend by Marie Lu
Unwind by Neal Shusterman
City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau

I hope to purchase these novels by October. Any amount you could contribute would be extremely helpful in my quest to build a quality classroom library. The cost of this project covers the price of purchasing the novels, shipping, and fees.
