On August 6, 2016 our community lost a great man in Jim "The Hurricane" Callan. For every student he taught, every person he shook hands with, and every friend he ever had, Jimmy made each and every person feel like they were the most important person in the world at that moment. For everything that Jim did for us during his brief time here, it seems fitting to carry on his legacy in a way that continues to make future generations feel just as special.
Friends and colleagues of Jim are starting a
Jim Callan Memorial Scholarship Fund. The recipient will be a Ridgefield Park Student-Athlete Senior who embodies the type of student that Jimmy's enthusiasm and concern would of made a difference, especially beyond the classroom.
Any donation you make will help us build this scholarship fund so that we can continue helping kids year in and year out on behalf of our beloved Hurricane!
