Opportunity to Train in Thailand!

Donation protected
Hello there,

As many of you know I’ve been involved in combat sports pretty much my whole life. I’ve traveled around the world competing and training in many events and they’ve all been awesome life experiences. So far I’ve accomplished a lot in the sport of wrestling where I was a 3x Illinois High School State Champion, FILA Cadet National Champion, Fargo National Champion and 6x All American, University Nationals Runner-Up, and a NJCAA National Champion in 2018.

At this point in my life, I have now transitioned into MMA and this is what I am doing for my career. What most people don’t understand about MMA is the amount of preparation that goes into these fights. We’re not just showing up the night of the fight, after only working out a couple days a week, and hoping we win. I mean some fighters may have this approach but not the ones that are hungry and serious about going to the very top of this sport. Fighting is a lifestyle that we have to engulf ourselves in that requires working out multiple times every single day while at the same time putting our bodies on the line. What most people also don’t know is the kind of financial burden this sport puts on us that are just starting out or are relatively new to the sport. Fighters pay gym fees, management fees, travel and hotel fees, fees to have their blood work done, gear fees, and for doctors visits when they get injured. All these things that fighters have to pay for aren’t cheap and that’s why many fighters don’t make it in the long run.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to go to Thailand and train for a month later on this summer. Although I stay up late at night trying to figure out ways to make it happen, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s going to be nearly impossible for me to do. The flight to Thailand itself costs around $1000 not to mention passport fees, food, and accommodations while I’m there. Luckily for me, Thailand is a pretty cheap country and you can really make your money go a long ways if you’re smart about it. While in Thailand, I will get the chance to train with some of the best fighters in the entire world and learn from a whole new perspective. It has always been a huge dream of mine to have the opportunity to go to Thailand and learn from the best and now I have that chance. Therefore I’m asking any and all of you if you can find it in your heart to help me out during this difficult time by contributing even a dollar to a great cause that’s going to help prepare me for the highest level of mixed martial arts. Every donation big or small will be greatly appreciated by me personally and there is no minimum or maximum donation you are required to make. If you decide to donate anonymously please reach out to me and let me know so that I can express my gratitude towards you personally. I appreciate everyone who took the time to read this whole thing and I really hope I can raise the money to pursue one of my biggest dreams in my life!
