Hope for Heidi

My wife Heidi is a dedicated and loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend in the battle of her life against a very aggressive form of breast cancer.

It all started in March 2016 with a lump that the doctors believed to be benign. By the time the lumpectomy was performed in July 2016, the pea-sized mass had grown to the size of a golf ball. Although they said the pathology report would take a week, the doctor called her back in the next day with a diagnosis of breast cancer.

Heidi’s fight has begun and she is determined to beat cancer. Your support is needed for her fight for survival. In September 2016, she will undergo a double mastectomy followed by chemotherapy treatment. Insurance will pay for many of the costs of the ongoing treatment Heidi needs to fight back, but there is much that insurance doesn't cover. While the actual cost of treatment is impossible to predict, any help is greatly appreciated.
