My husband Vernon has STAGE 4 NSC LUNG CANCER, which has NOT only affected his LEFT LUNG, but also his BACK TO A MUSCLE THAT GOES TO HIS SPINE, ADRENAL GLAND TO KIDNEY & his BRAIN ( 3 times ) !
He has had to have BRAIN SURGERY 2 TIMES to the Right Side of his BRAIN & Radiation Surgery to the Left Side of his BRAIN for a Tumor that was Bleeding.
Vernon has SEIZURES due to his BRAIN CANCER & the 2nd Brain Surgery he had was due to RADIATION NECROSIS which they had to " SHAVE " his Brain not only to REMOVE the NEW TUMOR but also the RADIATION NECROSIS which caused him to have PARALYSIS on his Left Side of his body.
Vernon LOST CONTROL & REGULAR USAGE of his LEFT ARM & HAND and PARTIAL in his LEFT LEG & FACE !
He takes Seizures because of his Cancer to his Brain & the Necrosis to his Brain and Vernon goes every 3 months for either a CT SCAN or PET SCAN of his Body and a 3D MRI of the BRAIN ! He also goes for Therapy to try & help him REGAIN SOME USAGE of his Left Arm & Hand.
He has tests, bloodwork, treatment & TONS of Doctors that he sees ALL of which are NOT cheap ! Insurance DOESN'T cover everything and I'm still working my full time job, when I don't have to take time off because he has had a BAD SEIZURE & CANNOT BE LEFT ALONE !
I'm asking from the TOP to the BOTTOM of MY HEART if you can kindly see it in Your HEART to HELP OUR CANCER FUND...…………… I JUST CAN'T DO IT ALONE ANYMORE.
I not only work my full time job, but also take care of my husband with ALL his daily needs, take care of our home and yard and also take & stay with Vernon for all of his appointments, tests, treatments & therapy. Vernon has his GOOD DAYS and Vernon has his BAD DAYS and lately there has been a lot of BAD DAYS !
We sit and cry together or at times he cries alone & so do I ….. it seems his favorite words to me everyday are,
" I LOVE YOU HONEY '' '' I'M SORRY HONEY '' ' THANK YOU HONEY '
