Help Jade Beat Lyme Disease

Donation protected
Please help Jade beat Lyme disease and help her get overseas for treatment in Malaysia and cover ongoing treatment costs in Australia!

Jade is 24 and has been battling with Lyme disease since 2012 after visiting NSW with her family, she woke one morning to get ready for work and was unable to walk. For most of those 4 years the doctors couldn't tell her what was wrong and kept telling her her illness was on her head! She has undergone 100s if not 1000s of tests and physio in the last 4 years and last year in April she finally her diagnosis after moving from Victoria to NSW to keep looking for answers! In April 2016 Jade was diagnosed with Lyme disease and co infections.

Jade suffers from a range of symptoms which affect nearly all her body and organs! She gets chest pain so bad that she has been taken to hospital twice once by ambulance as she thought she was having a heart attack (she isn't someone who asks to go to hospital unless she thinks something is really wrong), her heart rate goes up drastically when she stands and she allan around which causes her to be dizzy and wobbly trips or of the house were getting shorter every time she went out!
Jade is now in a wheel chair as her legs can't hold her weight and she just shakes, sometimes uncontrollably.
She suffers from light sensitivity so bad that she has to sit in a dark house for days on end sometimes wearing sunglasses or with a towel or blanket covering her head, this causes extreme headaches where she feels like her head is about to explode and her brain is pulsing in her head.
She has trouble watching TV and having conversations as she can't remember what was said or what she just watched, she also has trouble with reading things and gets lost and can't remember what she was reading.
She is so fatigued she says she feels like she hasn't slept for weeks on end, no matter if she gets a good night sleep she still wakes up and feels as though she hasn't slept, this will mean she won't want to have conversations with people as she is so fatigued she just physically and mentally can't hold one down, even outings despite being in a wheel chair are challenging as she is so tired and once she often gets to a place she wishes to go home!
Going out can be so overwhelming for her senses that she can't concentrate on anything, lights, loud noises etc make going out super hard and being in those kind of places for even a short time mean she has to go home for a nap!
She gets nerve pain so bad that it feels like her bones are being cut through she has said she wishes she could just cut her legs off to make the pain go away!
That's just a few of the symptoms she deals with on a daily basis as well as many many more!

Despite doing oral abx for almost a year jade did not respond and kept getting worse which meant she then had to do IV antibiotics which she has to travel to Sydney one to three times a week, one time usually with then a private nurse at home the other days, this costs up around a $1000 a week.

Jade has been unable to work most of the past 4 years when she has felt well enough she has worked but it only lasts short bursts of time. Because of this she has no super or savings to access to help with the ongoing costs of treatment, her family help where they can but ongoing any help would be greatly appreciated to help reduce some of the stress.

Lyme disease has limited treatment options in Australia which involve travelling and are quiet expensive! She wishes to go over to Malaysia for hyperthermia treatment and if money permits do ozone therapy later down track.
Jades treatment overseas will cost $20,000 for 2 hyperthermia treatments, flights and accomodation, she would also like to do ozone down the track which would cost about $10000 for flights, accomodation and treatment. Hyperthermia is where they heat the body up to 43 degrees and kill the bacteria combined with IV vitamins and abx, ozone is where they oxygenate the blood which bacteria can't survive in, she feels that's both these combine for treatment will get her back on track but for now she is really hoping for enough to have hyperthermia!

She has exhausted all her options here in Australia and your help to get her overseas to help get her health back would mean so much to her and her family and friends! Please if you can donate even just $5 that would help her more than you know! Please please share her story and help her get the money she needs to get to Malaysia for the treatment she needs to change her life! Sharing this with your friends and family and helping this reach as many people if you can't donate would be greatly appreciated! We need your help!
