Anna's Dream

Hello Families, Friends, Musicians and Dreamers,
As you may know music is a big part of Anna Snopek's life. She has a passion for music and has spent many hours performing both on flute and piano. She has received many awards from all of her hard work, some of them include: Winning the UWAY concerto competition as a junior. Last October her Waukesha North Marching band performed at the Youth in Music festival in Minnesota where she received a Yimmy for Best Performer - Piccolo Solo. Last fall, she received the Ovation Award when she performed at the Chicago Heritage Music Festival.
A couple months ago at her last concert as a senior at Waukesha North, she received the Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence, The John Philip Sousa Award for band and The Louis Armstrong Award for her piano playing in Jazz Band. She had to leave her last concert of the year early because she had pain in her back while breathing and later found out that her Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) had come back. Anna is currently on hold from going to college because of her treatment for cancer.
It has always been Anna’s dream to someday own and perform every day on a black steinway grand piano. We went to the store and found out that a new Steinway cost around $60,000. We found a good used Steinway for $17,770. Anna loves it, because it is well built and has a true grand piano sound, which is not overly bright sounding when played, but it is still beyond our means.
It would be really great if you could be a part of making Anna’s Dream come true because she will truly enjoy having her spirits lifted by being able to play every day on this well built piano. This means so much to us because it would mean so much to Anna.
Our goal is to make Anna’s Dream of owning a real grand piano in just 7 days (09/03/16) by reaching the donation goal of $17770. So that when she feels well enough to play later this week, she may do so on the Piano of her Dreams. We are sure that this would bring a smile to her face.
