The Seltzer Family is working through some major changes that have happened quite suddenly. Within a matter of days, Mark was rushed to the hospital for what was believed to be a stroke, and after some initial tests it was determined that he had a mass in his brain. Mark underwent brain surgery the next day on July 28th to remove a Glioblastoma - a very aggressive type of tumor. While the surgery was successful and much of the tumor was removed, the family has a long road ahead of them in radiation and chemotherapy treatments, transitions at work and adapting to a new normal of living.
This ordeal is not only heartbreaking for this family that is so incredibly devoted to each other, but it’s also been an absolute emotional rollercoaster as they work to process all of the information and changes to come as well as keep a positive outlook to continue to fight this disease. The most important thing to Mark is that he’s spending as much time with his kids and grandkids as possible throughout all of this.
Any support from friends and family as the Seltzers work through this troubling time is much appreciated and will make a world of difference.
