Help the Barber Brothers make an amazing movie! All the best horror films emerge from independent filmmakers including: Night of the Living Dead (1968), Halloween (1978), The Evil Dead (1981), and The Blair Witch Project (1999). This is your chance to be involved in such a project! The goal is to raise $15,000 and support independent artists.

We need to reach our goal by November 1, 2016.

THE LAST - STORY: A terminally ill man spends his last days coping with death and struggles to undo his past sins. While headed to a remote location he stumbles upon a woman. The two become stranded hundreds of miles from civilization. Secrets and lies quickly force them to be suspicious of each other's intentions. They soon discover that they are not alone. Something dark lives in the woods. Something not human and when it arrives there will be no survivors in its wake.

ABOUT US: The Barber Brothers
Filmmakers Nathaniel Barber and Matthew Barber have been making films since childhood. Their lifelong passion lead them to study film and receive their Associate degree in Screenwriting and Directing at the Colorado Film School. They are currently wrapping their Bachelorʼs degree in film at the University of North Texas. The brothers are known for Windigo Origins (2014), Windigo Revolution (2015) and The Lawmen (2011). Windigo Origins (2014) was an Official Selection at the 2014 South Dakota Film Festival and an Official Selection at the 2016 UNT Media Arts Festival. Windigo Revolution (2015) was also an Official Selection at the 2016 UNT Media Arts Festival and has been selected to play at the 2016 Northeast Wisconsin Horror Film Festival.

Your contributions can make the biggest difference and be a stepping stone to lead us on a pathway to success.

Budget Breakdown
All of the money raised goes directly towards the production of this film. It will be distributed in the most efficient way to produce the best product possible. The filmmakers will not receive a dime, therefore no money goes to waste. The budget covers equipment fees, food, lodging, transportation and compensation for the cast, crew and music production.

Challenges
A huge challenge that all films face is funding. Without funding, the movie cannot be made. We are set to begin filming in January of 2017. Due to our small budget, our shooting schedule will be 30 days which is a very tight schedule and is being meticulously planned. Additionally, the entire shoot will be outdoors so we will be fighting against the elements. Like anything worth fighting for it won't be easy.
