Stevie's funeral expences
Donation protected
My husband and I were about to leave on a new journey from Massachusetts to North Carolina to begin a new life with our daughter, son in law and grandson's. As we prepared to leave my husband noticed a lump on his neck. I sent him to the doctor only to be told he needed a CT scan, so Steve went for scan and was told it did not look good and needed further testing. We canceled all plans, but Steve decided after talking to our daughter that he still wanted to go South. So we moved and 3days after we had him in the ER so we could get him established here in North Carolina after much more testing we finally got a diagnoses. My husband has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Non small cell Adenocarcinoma lung cancer. We were told that there is no surgery or cure for him, he is terminal. Our goal is to stop his cancer from spreading so fast and to make his quality of life comfortable .Upon starting chemotherapy he is on many supplements to help with his side effects from chemotherapy.Costs of these supplements and copays to drs and fortreatments are not covered by our insurance. I can't pay all the bills and the supplements and get healthy food that he needs to keep his strength up. Seeing the stress on my husbands face is hearterwrenching. He worries what's going to happen to me after.I hate that I have to ask for help it makes me feel like a failure ,but I don't know what else to do. Keeping him eating right so he can stay healthy has been difficult especially when we are giving $16per month food stamps for 2.No donation is to small and in advance I'de like to thank you all and ask you all to please share this link.
