Ashlynn's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
As you all know, Valarie and Ashlynn lost their beloved Tony this past November. On Tuesday July 26, Ashlynn was taken to the pediatrician for an evaluation due to not feeling well and showing signs of severe anemia. Ashlynn was immediately sent from the doctor’s office to the lab for blood work, which was ordered “stat”. After a few hours waiting for the results, Valarie was told to get Ashlynn to the Emergency Room at Long Beach Miller Children’s Hospital. After more tests 5-year-old Ashlynn was diagnosed with ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). This is going to be a long road to recovery and this single mother is going to need all the help she can get. The treatment plan is set for 2 years, which will require trips to the hospital 2-5 times a week for chemo and transfusions plus at home medications, Ashlynn will not be able to attend kindergarten for at least 6 months and will require a tutor to come to the home and assist so she doesn’t get behind. If you would like to help with a meal or help in any other way, please feel free to contact me via FB, Jaree Lorraine.
We will keep this page updated, but also feel free to follow Ashlynn’s long journey on her Facebook page Ashlynn Perrish. Please understand that any donations count!
