Hi my name is Sarah Grayson, I’m twenty five years old and I’m the Australian National Vaulting Champion for 2016. Vaulting is described as gymnastic on top of a moving horse, which is preformed to music.
I began vaulting in 2009 at Sydney Vaulting Group and truly fell in love with the sport. I have gone on to compete over the years in States, Nationals and International competitions, including representing Australia at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in France in the Australian vaulting squad. Along the way finding many wonderful vaulting friends. The friendships in the vaulting community are amazing as we support, help each other and have fun together.
Recently at the Great Southern CVI, held 21st to 24th of April 2016. I receive a qualifying score in individual class, which has giving me the oppotunity to be selected to compete in the FEI World Championships for Seniors, which will be held in Le Mans in France 18th to 21st of August 2016.
Vaulting is very expensive as I will have to travel overseas and I can not take my own horse with me. I will have to borrow a horse from half way across the world, which we need to then spend plenty of time before the competition getting to know our new international horse. There is also costs of training, horse hire, accomadation, competition fees and horse floating which I have to cover myself.
Therefore I’m looking for your help for sponsorship to assist me with my goal of Representing Australia at the FEI World Championships for Seniors. As I’m studying Veterinary nursing and I can only work part-time along with my training for vaulting.
I would greatly appreciate any sponsorship which would immensely help me follow my dreams of Representing Australia at the FEI World Championships for Seniors.
