Cody's Medical Fund

My name is Mikaela and I started this Go Fund Me account for my brother, Cody Fowler.  Two days ago my family and I found out that my brother was in a horrible accident.


Last weekend he went up to Washington State to go swimming with his friends. Cody had climbed a rock about 30 feet high to jump off and as he went to jump into the water, the cliff gave way and fell 30 feet down into shallow water.  Cody was taken to PeaceHealth SouthWest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washinton via Life Flight.  He has sustained spinal cord brusing, a broken back and a broken knee.  He had to have emergency surgery to fuse his lower back together and he has been in ICU since that time.  As of May 1st, my brother no longer had Medical Insurance due to him turning 26. At this point and because it’s so early in his recovery, we don’t know how long he’s going to be in ICU. If you could please help by donating towards Cody's health care expenses, it would be very much appreciated!

 UPDATE: Cody has been moved to salem hospital and is out of ICU! Its been about a month now and he walked today for the first time ! We are so proud of how far he has come but struggles to walk because he doesn't have all the feeling back in his left leg yet. He still has a very long road ahead to be able to walk alone without the help of people. I want to thank everyone who has donated to help with costs of his bills and recovery we still don't know how long he's gonna be in the hospital and every dollar donated helps us get to is goal as he is currently not working and has two very sweet young boys .
