Medical Expenses for Lady

My name is Amelia and I am a volunteer at the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter in Brookhaven, NY. Recently, my favorite shelter dog, Lady, has become ill. She has an enlarged spleen and, despite conservative treatment, her condition has not improved. Now Lady needs the help of a specialist and will need to undergo a splenectomy in order to feel better. I have set up this fund on her behalf in the hopes that we can raise the money to cover the splenectomy and all necessary follow-up treatment and expenses, which will include medication and special prescription food.
