Save this baby calf!

I have five days to save this calf's life and it can be done with just a little help from all of you! My daughter has an online sports fundraiser that is taking donations from locals to auction off and raise money.  They are offering many  items, and unfortunately one of them is a two month old calf!  A local farm donated this calf and I know what her fate will be if anyone other than myself is the "winning bidder."  She is a dairy cow but is considered "useless" because she is a freemartin and most likely unable to reproduce.  
 With the funds,  I will promise to  place the highest bid and "win."    I am in connections with multiple sanctuaries  that are touched by the story and helping out.  She will go to a farm sanctuary to live out her days  rather than to slaughter!
I am vegan and truly believe this is one of the best ways I can demonstrate compassion firsthand at a local level without making people defensive!
I know I cannot save all of the animals but I am drawn to this calf and I don't believe it is appropriate that a school fundraiser is benefiting from the slaughter of this beautiful animal.
Unfortunately my funds are extremely limited. The estimated bids could go up to $300 to $400 because the farm that "donated" her said that her value is around $300. If more money is raised than the winning bid, I plan to donate the remaining amount to the sanctuary that was takes her in!
