4th Toy Drive in Honour of Heather

As most of you know, I lost my Identical twin sister Heather to a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, that affects mostly young children. It is a cancer of the bone and muscle. She had two tumours, one in her tail bone and the other in her hip bone. She fought for 10 months. She gained her Angel wings March 31st, 2012.
After sharing 19 Birthdays together, I had no idea how I would spend my 20th alone. So I decided with the help of my amazing family and friends. Instead of me receiving birthday gifts that mean nothing to me since all I wanted was my twin back. I would collect NEW unwrapped toys for the Oncology floor at the Hospital of Sick Kids in Toronto.
Last year we even made it on the news globally! Thank you to CBC News and Global News.

If you would like to donate a toy you can drop it off either at my house in Tottenham, or I can arrange to pick it up from you.
This will be my fourth year doing it, and Unfortulently
this will be my last year doing the toy drive. So let’s make it the best one yet!
I have set up a GoFund me page again this year to make donations a little easier. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
This Year I will bring it back to donations of $20.00 as my 20th birthday was the first one with out Heather.

Heather, your spirit surrounds us. Your smile forever echoes in our minds. Your laugh breaks through the loudest thunder. Your love will continue to keep us warm at heart for eternity. Your beauty will never stop leaving us breathless. We will never hear "autopilot" again without smiling. You always wanted to say "I beat it". Well Heather you did it. You beat Sarcoma. It didn't even have a chance at breaking you. You remained Heather and fought and never gave up this whole time. I'd say that was a victory.
