Help Allen beat cancer #Allen'sarmy

Hello family, friends and Go Fund Me members,
My son Allen has recently been diagnosed with stage 1 Renal Cell Carcinoma which is the medical terminology for kidney cancer. We are all very shocked and saddened by the diagnosis of cancer because my son is only 26 years of age which is very uncommon in someone of his age. We are still unsure of how he got kidney cancer since the doctors have all said that they usually don’t see kidney cancer in people this young and have so far attributed it to “bad luck”. Hopefully his luck can turn around here.
*Allen has also never smoked or chewed tobacco in his life so it makes this diagnosis even more shocking*
This all started back in February when Allen awoke with pain on his left side and had to go to the emergency room because the pain as unbearable. After multiple tests that night the doctors concluded it was kidney stones and everything would work out but in a few months we learned it was much worse. After many tests and scans of his body we got the news of cancer
Allen’s left kidney and inflamed lymph-nodes will have to be surgically removed and then sent off to pathology to see if the lymph-nodes also have cancer which will bump up the diagnosis from stage 1 to stage 3. We hope and pray this is not the case and the nodes are just inflamed. Medical bills have already been piling up after multiple CT Scans, Ultrasounds, and biopsies. This is just the beginning of a very long road up to the surgery. He will also have to recover from the surgery which could take anywhere from a month to six weeks where he will not be able to work where he started a new job and doesn’t have time off accrued yet so anything here helps.
Allen is a loving son and brother to his two younger siblings and is always there to help out with anything he can. Allen is also an avid gamer who loves to play the latest and greatest games with friends all over the world. Allen has also spent some time in the game industry as a Quality Assurance Tester where he tested the amazing game series Call of Duty. He worked on all projects from Modern Warfare 3 through Black Ops 3. I’m sure would love to play a game with all of the people who see this page and send some support his way.
