Ernie's Double Transplant Surgery

Hi my name is Theresa Schmutz from the small community County of Flagstaff, Sedgewick AB. Our family is in need of financial help for my Uncle Ernie Palmer of Strome, AB.

He has been diagnosed with N.A.S.H - Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (a type of liver diease) and Pulmonary Fibrosis which requires a  DOUBLE transplate ! He is need of new lungs and liver. This combonation surgery has never been done at the U of A hospital in Edmonton, AB(which is 2 hrs from Ernie's home town of Strome AB) The transplant team is requesting he be transferred to Toronto General team where they have done this surgery. This is my Uncle Ernie's only chance at survival. He needs to have the surgery right away. My Uncle Ernie has never complained and never asked for any help dealing with all he has been facing up to his diagnosis.  

Ernie  is 57 yrs old, has his wife Donna, 3 children, Jacqueline (Dan), Kayla(Mike) and Ryan and 2 precious grandchildren Jordan and Brooke. Ernie  has lived in our commmunity all his life and was employeed at Flagstaff Waste Management in Sedgewick, AB for 25 years until his health caused him to stop.  He and his wife live in the small town of Strome,AB. 

As we enter this Christmas season, the giving season, I just ask if you could find it in your heart to donate any amount.  The funds raised will go towards helping with the cost of travel and the long stay in Ontario for Ernie and his family.
