Hello!
My name is Kauczuk and I’m a cheerful 18-year-old from Poland. What’s more, I’ve always been a huge fan of cartoons. I love watching the characters on the screen and drawing them on paper. I could always find a little bit of myself in some of them just like Avatar Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender. I admired his energy, ambition and faith in the good that’s out there.
What’s YOUR favorite cartoon character? After all, we all have that one we could identify with.
I want to create cartoons that will embrace that idea. I want them to stand for values like tolerance, kindness, equality and respect to one another.
My cartoons will cheer you up if you feel sad and empower you when you need it. They’ll teach you how to pursue your own dreams. I’m a dreamer myself but I know that all dreams can come true.
My biggest dream to date is to make the world a happier place so that everyone could feel like they belong. I believe that studying at California Institute of the Arts will help me make this happen.
The education at CalArts costs nearly 207k € but unfortunately, life has thrown some obstacles in my way and I just can’t afford it. My hard-working mom is a double cancer survivor and I’ve got severe cardio-logical issues. That’s why I have launched this campaign and I’m asking for YOUR help.
Both me and my mum try to do everything we can to get by, but bills, mortgage and medical treatment ain’t a piece of cake. Nonetheless, I firmly believe that if someone is dedicated to something, they can achieve anything and the good that we share always comes back.
That’s why I’d like to ask for YOUR support. Help me get into CalArts and change the world through art and animation.
