The countdown has started: exactly 90 days from today the Sidare humanitarian mission to India and Nepal will set off!
Every year Sidare travels to India in order to bring aid and monitor current projects, meeting over a thousand children and distributing basic necessities.
Sidare, an Onlus (non-profit organization of social utility,) was founded in 2008 to help young Tibetan refugees and children from Nepal and India. Over the years it has started a large number of projects, sponsoring both adults and children who have needed hospital care and medical procedures and could not afford the high costs of the Indian healthcare system . The group is scheduled to depart at the end of October and will include Ombretta Ciscato (Chairman),Valeria Baldin ( Vice-President) ,Alessandra Ciscato (Nurse),Alessandra Dalla Gassa (Doctor),Orazio Cremona (Clown), and Elisa Garbuio (Voluntary animator).
The cost of the trip is borne entirely by volunteers and to allow us to visit our children and coordinate the various projects in India and Nepal, we need 2,000 euro each.
