Homeless Veterans of Milwaukee Ride

Hello!

My name is Sean Hackney and I am approaching my 12th year as a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. My good friend Brandon Sippel and I decided to go on an adventurous bicycle ride of 401.7 miles from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontairo, Canada back down to Milwaukee, Wisconsin over a six-day period. During our planning/training process we decided that the only thing that would make this adventure even better is by raising money for a worthy cause. That is why we decided to raise funds for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative (MHVI). The MHVI was established in 2008 and they have helped more than 2,000 at-risk veterans and their families in several ways. Brandon and I will be biking around 65-70 miles a day and sleeping in a tent from August 19th through August 25th.  We will be posting daily videos to our facebook pages talking about important issues facing our homeless veterans as well as how the MHVI fills the gaps that no one else addresses. The need is great and continuously growing. Please help us in our efforts by donating whatever you can afford before August 23rd, 2016. Rest assured that your donation will go towards providing the desparately needed services for the homeless veterans of the Milwaukee area.
