For the family of David Ray
Donation protected
On Wednesday, July 27, 2016, The Rays received the news that the life of David Ray was lost due to a fatal car crash while commuting in Chicago.
David had recently accepted a job opportunity in Chicago so that he may continue to support his family. This was a sacrifice for him as well as his wife and three children as he had to commit to a the three hour commute from work, to home, in Roanoke each weekend so that he may be with them. Unfortunately, they are now enduring the unfathomable: a husband and father who never returns home.
David left behind a wife of 25 years, Christy Ray, and three sons: Samuel, Zachary, and Noah, as well as many others who loved and respected him.
David was an honorable man who was well known and in his community and had a heart of gold. I have only heard of positive views/comments regarding him, his wife, and their children. Fortunately, his family are strong in their faith, and that strength will surely be what gets them through this very trialing time.
While nothing will ever replace the life which has been lost, any financial assistance will help with the burden of funeral costs, work lost due to this tragedy, and will ultimately provide aid for the care of his family.
I know the Rays will be appreciative of any donation. Anything will help.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and God Bless!
