Help Save Mira!

Hi everyone! This is Mira (we named her Mira short for miracle). I found her last night on the side of the road on Forest Lawn. She had been hit by a car and left to die. I thought she was already dead when I stopped but she lifted her head when I walked up to her. Of course I scooped her up and drove her straight to the emergency vet. They held her over night and now she is being transferred to a regular vet so they can continue to observe her. Good news is she is doing well. They don't think she has any broken bones, but still need to do X-rays to confirm. She was either abandoned or neglected so she has some skin issues and is malnourished and dehydrated. Bad news is that the vet is expensive! We would like to get her healthy and then help find her a home. If we take her to the shelter they said she will probably be euthanized so my only choice is to take get her the care she needs.
