Help the Thomassons Start Over

For those of you who haven't heard, over 4,200 acres have been affected by the Hidden Pines forest fire this week. The Thomasson's are a family who have spent the past two years serving the Lord through the Camp Wilderness Ridge outreach, which is located in Smithsville, Texas. It was confirmed by a local volunteer firefighter, on the evening of October 14th, 2015, that their camp home had been burnt down to the foundation. This is a tragic loss for this family, as they are forced to rebuild their lives.




They are thanking the Lord with every minute that they are safe, but they know that the next few months are going to be difficult. With the peace that only the Lord can provide, and the sweet smiles of their 2 month old son, Jackson, they are determined to continue glorifying God in all that they do.  



There is a great need for support here, both in prayers and financial donations. Any amount that can be given will help them find a place to call home during the next few months, while they make arrangements for their future, in whatever way the Lord has planned. The goal for this page is to raise $7500 for the cost of living, so that they can use whatever help they receive to take care of replacing the essential provisions that were lost to this fire.
