Funeral Expenses For Marty

On Thursday, March 10th, my deeply loved sister-in-law Gaby Galvez, had her son, Martin Hurtado, taken from her suddenly by a brutal act of police violence. Marty was only 21 years old. While there are still many questions that remain to be answered, there is no question about how loved Marty was by all of us and so many more of his family and friends.
Marty touched us all with his smile, affection, and the witty sarcasm he learned from his dear Grandpa, David Sr., who we all know is laughing with Marty in heaven right now. Everyone who met Marty has shared a very similar story with Gaby about how much Marty would make them laugh and how he left a special impression on everyone he met.
These past few days have been extremely tough for our family but I know Gaby, Martin Sr., David, Valerie, John and Martha would never have made it through them without the outpouring of love and support they have all received. As you probably know, there are many expenses that come with a burial service and although my sister-in-law would never ask for help, I am asking for her. She has suffered enough at the hands of the police and I do not want her to shoulder this cost alone.
If you have the ability to donate anything to help Gaby cover the cost of Marty's funeral expenses, my family would be so grateful. If you do not have that ability, a simple message of hope or prayer would be just as appreciated.
