Let's Get Greg Cured

Donation protected
One month ago,  my family received devastating news that my brother Greg had been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) T-cell.  ALL is an aggressive type of  blood cancer that starts in the bone marrow and rapidly spreads throughout the body.  The news was shocking to family and friends and to anyone who knows Greg.  You would never expect someone at 32 who eats healthy, takes excellent care of themselves, and is in great shape, could get cancer.  As the doctors said, it was "just bad luck."  Unfortunately, cancer can happen to anyone; children or adults, young or old.

Writing the word "cancer" has a new meaning to me. The word puts knots in my stomach and aches in my heart.  I feel helpless knowing that my little brother has to go through this and I can't help him fight this disease.  Upon diagnosis, Greg was immediately put into the hospital and is currently being treated at Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick. The good news is the cancer has not spread to his brain or spine and the doctors feel that because of his age and health, there is an excellent chance that he will go into remission.  However, even with the best outcome (remission), Greg will still have to receive intense treatments, in and out of the hospital, for at least 2 more years.

Given the extensive hospitalization and physical toll that ALL has taken Greg will be unable to work for some time.  The medical bills have started to pour in and insurance will only cover so much.  In addition to his medical bills, Greg also has his regular bills.  While our family has come together and is pooling our funds to help pay for things, the costs of treatment are starting to get overwhelming and we know that this is just the beginning.

That's where we are asking for YOUR help and love!!  Any amount donated would be extremely appreciated.  A generous gesture could pay for one medical bill, pay for a dose of medications, or even pay for a pizza (whatever he's craving we get for him as long as he eats!!).  My family and I will do anything to ensure that Greg will have the best medical treatment.  With your assistance and support, we can make sure that Greg has access to the best care possible.  Greg is so strong and he is a fighter.  Please help us battle alongside Greg in this most difficult time.   Thanks for joining us as we "Fight for Greg"!!
