Meka's Medical Fund

This cute pup named Meka is a 5 year old boxer who my daughter fell in love with, after going online to find a friend for our 10 year old long haired chihuahua Daisy.  After learning of Meka's story, she desperately want's to help her receive the medical attention she deserves to live a long fulfilling life.
Meka was raised by a very loving owner, who did an excellent job training her .  Meka is the most well behaved dog, and such a big baby. She is extremely cuddly, friendly, and loves to give hugs. I've never seen such a well behaved dog for what shes endured !  The owner at some point had to move due to personal curcumstances, and could not keep Meka anymore, so she had given her to a loving home, so she thought.  The new owners decided they didn't want her anymore and gave her away.  We are assuming a puppy mill since this poor dog was bred beyond belief.  Once they were finished with her (because she was too mangled up to produce any more puppies) they just dumped her off on the side of the road by a creek somewhere  Thankfully, she was found and turned in to the humane society, where her previous owner was contacted (Meka has a microchip).  The previous owner was heartbroken to see what happened to her dog and has been trying to find her a good home, which is where we come in.  

Her nose was badly sunburned, and now is scarred.  Her teets are so mangled and deformed from constantly nursing.  One look at her, and you can see the discomfort she is in.  Lower down her torso her teets are the size of golf balls.  She has to lay down in an odd way, because her teets are so large and deformed, they bother her.  Her outer vaginal area has been overstretched due to over breeding, which causes her leakage, and she has a huge tumor growing from her bottom lip which covers her  teeth.  The tumor oozes and bleeds and caused her great discomfort.  My daughter has had to puree her food and spoon feed her, otherwise, the food falls out of her mouth ( the tumor does not allow her to fully close her mouth), and her teeth are so effected by this mass in her mouth its difficult to chew.  We'd love to be able to take her to our vet, and have her fixed up so she can have a better quality of life. We are looking to raise enough money so we can take her in for a checkup at our vet, to get a better understanding/estimate of the cost of her surgeries.  Please help us help Meka with her medical expenses so she can be more independant and pain free.  Thank you so much to everyone for listening to our story.  This type of abuse has to stop.  What kind of people would do this to such a sweet and loving animal.
