Royal Children's Hospital Triathlon

I will be training and completing an olympic distance triathlon on March 19th to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital, Neurological Ward. A cause that is very close to m heart. Between 2011 and 2015 I spent periods of time in the neurological ward of the RCH after a diagnosis of a spinal tumour. Throughout this time I was lucky enough to be treated by the amazing medical staff that work there. It also meant that I shared the wards with many sick children who were all in need of the care and expertise of the professional and caring staff. It was By far the most humbling and eye opening experience  of my life. I would like to give something back to the hospital and also help those children and their families who have need of this amazing institution and it's staff.
