Down Payment for a home

Hello.
My name is Matthew. My wife and myself are looking to raise money toward making a down payment on a home to call our own. We both work, but with our credit low and medical bills. We are having a difficult time raising the money to make a downpayment.
Currently we are renting a location with 4 of our friends and we are paying 500 a month for rent and bills, which doesn't leave anything left for saving up.
Last year me and my wife were looking at homes when we found out she was pregnant and shorlty later, had a blighted Ovum. So we had to start paying on that which through our plans in the bin.
Any contributions will be greatly appreciated and I sincerely want to thank everyone for your time and effort. We are in a lease until June of next year so we have about 11 months to come up with as much as possible to help with the plans of making the goal.
