Help send my Dad to Tanzania,Africa

Hi my name is Alicia Price. Before I get into why I am trying to raise money I want to give you a little information about my hero, my inspiration, my father Mike Price.
            My Dad on April 30th 2007 was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and was given 3-5 years to live. He has had, as you can imagine, bad side effects because of this large tumor in the speech part of his brain that is continually slowly growing and its tentacles growing throughout. One of the worst things for me was when he had a grand mal seizure, we actually lost him for a couple minutes but God knew we still needed him and he had a lot left to give this world so God had everything line up that at the right moment both me and my mother were there to able to revive him. I mean watching your dad die and then come back is something you never forget. Another thing I will never forget that even when my Dads words didn’t make sense and he was lying in the hospital after this episode he was still able to quote scripture to share Gods word to others without any hesitation and every word on point. I watch Gods miraculous power with my own eyes and ears. So after this he has tried numerous treatments; IV chemo, oral chemo, cyber knife, been to some of the top doctors in NYC but all to no avail. The tumor is still growing and now on top of the tumor and the cancer he now has a brain aneurysm. He will be on a one week on 3 weeks off of oral chemo till it effects his quality of life to much or God heals him.
           A couple days before this past Christmas we found out that his tumor has almost doubled the rate to which it had been growing for the past 9 years. About six months ago on January 4th 2016 my family was told that my father only has a year left to live. My Dad, being the man he is, reminded the doctors and us that they have been wrong in the past and only God knows his expiration date.
           Through all this we believe God has a plan. My Father instead of letting this diagnosis rule him he fights through it by the grace of God. He has used this to strengthen his walk with Jesus instead of tearing it apart. His testimony of how its only God’s grace he’s here and by His faithfulness that what the Doctors say and the “octopus” growing in his brain hasn’t beaten his spirt but helped it grow and shine brighter. Seeing a little bit more or why he’s my hero?
            So finally I know, why am I raising money? Jim Oxendine a missionary that my Father’s church supports had approached my Dad and said he felt God wanted him to go to Africa with him. To make this trip possible my Dad will need $4,000.00. Check this LINK out if you want some back ground info about Jim Oxendine’s ministry work in Africa. The miracles that I’ve heard about going on in Africa are nothing short of amazing and inspiring. My Dad being the man he is when I told him I wanted to do a GoFundMe page wasn’t so sure about this but I did end up getting his approval but you want to know his reasoning for saying yes? It wasn’t so he can go to Africa to witness miracles, it wasn’t even so hopefully he could receive his miracle of complete healing, it was because he feels in his heart that God has giving him messages to preach to the people of Tanzania to bring more hearts into the kingdom of Christ. Now you seeing why he is my inspiration? This man with all the pain he’s in, somedays so tiered he can sleep the day away, wants to travel to a place where, with his white cell count, most people will tell him he’s crazy due to the diseases he might come in contact with. He wants to do this not for himself, but to share God with the men and woman of Africa. See I aspire to have that selflessness but I do not. Don’t get me wrong I want God to use my Dad to see His will be done but, I want more for my Dad to be healed. But this is not about what I want it’s about what God wants and His plan for my father.
            Friends, family and all to whom have taken the time to read this I’m going to ask four things from you and if you can do any or all of them we would be forever grateful.
          1-My dad needs all the prayers he can get for healing and for the discernment to say what God wants the men and woman of Africa to hear.  John 14, 13-14 says “whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
           2-Pray for the men and women of Tanzania and that Gods power continues to be shown and shared there.
            3-Please share this page with the people you know. The more people it reaches the better our odds.
            4- My Dad needs donations A.S.A.P.  Our family is at a place that just coming up with monthly bills is an exercise in trust and faith that God will provide all our needs. ANY amount would be greatly appreciated nothing is too small.
             With your support my Dad will hopefully be going on October 20th to Tanzania for 8 days and will preach the word of God and help continue the amazing work going on there.  I’m also praying that God gives him the miracle that His word promises. Thank you and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for my Dad.
