Harare BMX Club has been at the Ron van Rooyen BMX Track since 1985.
A majority of the landowners have decided to sell up and we now face eviction as our track will be demolished to make way for .... !
A proud history will come to an end.
Over the years countless kids have enjoyed the benefits, thrills and spills of BMX in Harare.
In 30 years, 5 Harare riders have become world challenge-class champions, 17 have been on the podium and 51 have made World Challenge Finals; we want this to continue!
A major achievement was the hosting of AFCON 2015.
UCI Africa Continental Championships 2015
Unless we are able to build a new track, BMX in Harare will die, and future generations will be denied all that BMX has to offer.
Harare BMX Club Committee and members are passionate about BMX, and want to support and encourage children to grow, develop and to achieve their sporting dreams.
No Government or other public funds are available, so we must raise the full amount to build a new BMX track ourselves. We want to give another generation the chance to fly!
