Rescue My Family From Venezuela

Donation protected
My wife and I, Ibis and Raymond Winkler, have started a campaign to raise money for our desperate relatives in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Food has become so expensive that it is impossible to buy, except for things like flour, spaghetti, or plantain; foods that can help with the hunger but does nothing for nutrition. To buy food, one has to wait several hours even as much as two days in line and that is no guarantee there will be food left to buy once you are inside. This is forcing the least fortunate to eat from dumpsters. Gunmen frequently rob those in line because they know those shoppers have money. Medicines are also in short supply. Hospitals, doctors, and pharmacies have no medication, including over the counter medication, such as aspirin.

Water and electricity are turned off daily for 4 to 8 hours leaving them without fans or air conditioning in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees.
We phone calls daily with those conveying their despair about the intolerable conditions they have to endure.

There are 48 people in our family and we are trying to raise enough money to relocate all the members 1300 miles away, in Ecuador. This is a daunting task that will take all of our time and we are happy to come through for them. Without help from people like you, this will be impossible. Just five dollars from a multitude of donors will eventually add up to success. Please share this post so we can get the word out.

Please help spread the word!
