Michelle's stroke recovery

Donation protected
On Monday, July 11th, my wife of just over two years began feeling very dizzy. An ambulance was called and they rushed her to the ER.

During the 7 hours in the ER, they performed several CTs and an MRI to try and figure what was going on with her. With each test result, another possible diagnosis was ruled out and I grew more fearful for the worst.

Michelle suffered an ischemic stroke to the right portion of the pons. The pons serves as the message station between several areas of the brain and it helps relay messages from the cortex and the cerebellum.

She subsequently lost fine motor control on the left side of her body (including her face, arm, hand, leg, and feet), her speech was slurred, and she was unable to track and focus on objects with her eyes which led to extreme vertigo.

After several days in hospital care, Michelle started to improve and they have since released her into a stroke rehabilitation center.

If you have the means, please help fund her recovery. We would be very grateful.

If you feel comfortable doing so, please share the campaign on social media to help spread the word.
