A Wheelchair for David

Hello, friends! Jessica here. As many of you know, David was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in March of 2015. This past year has been one of many changes. We uprooted our little family and moved from Albuquerque to Appalachia. Our dream has been to raise our children in nature and have a garden with lots of porch sitting and guitar strumming. After lots of planning and struggle, we have been fortunate enough to make that happen. We are poorer than we've ever been, but we are richer than we've ever been...
Just as we are settling in to our new life, David has been experiencing more setbacks. As well as being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in March, he had an MS exacerbation a few days ago. He officially has no function in his "good leg". After an MRI and a visit to the neurologist, it looks like he will be wheelchair bound indefinitely. The chances of either legs ever coming back are very slim...
He is the strongest person I know, and I am proud to call him Husband. His positivity continues to shine through, and his ability to adapt and overcome is inspiring...
Our insurance will pay for the base line wheelchair, cheapest on the market sort of deal. While this will be great for inside use, it will not allow him to do the things he loves the most in the great outdoors. Strolling through the garden to check on the radishes, fishing in the pond, or just patrolling the land in general. He's an outside, active kind of guy...
We found the perfect wheelchair designed specially for people like him. It allows you to maneuver through all kinds of outside terrain. It costs $875.00, and the rest would be for shipping. Anything extra will go towards making the house handicap accessible (ramps, grab bars, etc...). David's quality of life and sense of self would greatly improve with this wheel chair...
