LunchBox Funding

I originally started this campaign asking for a helping hand in securing a future for my children by asking for donations to start a small business. Any and all donations recieved will still be used for this purpose. Before I was under the impression that the kindness of others would be the only way I could achieve my goal. Nonetheless, I was exploring all of my options. While doing so I received some information that has uplifted me and changed my mind. Let me share with you please.

    Life as we all know is a long road filled with decisions that we make along the way and the decisions that we make are not always the best or most intelligent by any means but we make them while moving forward. Our decisions are usually based on circumstance, emotion, opportunity,personal gain or any reason that feels right to you and then there are just some that you find yourself asking "why did I?". The choices we make in life do not only come with possible consequences but they also guide the directions that our paths will lead us in. Any direction our decisions send us in will have new sitiations and different choices that will be made. Everyones choices are different in life because all our lives are different but for most people there will come a point in life when you will have to make choices that will effect the lives of people you love most. This is where I am at.

   I have walked my road trying to make the best choices for the situations at hand but not always giving much thought about the future. Now I find myself  at the age of thirty one and looking into the eyes of my children wondering what can I do to give them every opportunity that they deserve? When I look at where I am in my career after fourteen years I don't see a great place. Not every choice I made worked out along the way but I am still good at what I do and I learned everthing I could while getting to where I am now. It has been years now that I have been working on plans to  open my own business so my family can truely benefit from my hard work. I know exactly what I can do and how I can  do it but  here I am  a struggling single father living from check to check and beating myself up over the choices that I have made that got me into this situation. I decided to stop thinking about things in my past that will never change because I have two children who need me to find a way to move forward and give them the best chance I can at life but there is not much for me to work with. All I can do is pay bills, my credit is below par, no savings and I own very little. So I started this campaign not knowing what else I could do.

    While I was  exploring every possible option I might have had regaurdless how slim the chance, I discovered that I have not messed up as bad as I believed I did. There are still ways that I can take what seems like a hopeless dead end and use it to get where I need to be for my kids. I still have  little to work with but at least I know now that I can do something with it. All I need is time, patience, right choices and faith in myself while moving forward. I know I will succeed once I get there and now I believe that it is possible.

     Any and all donations recieved from this will go towards helping me reach my goal faster. After my goals are achieved I want to become a helping hand. There are many people in similar or worse situations such as mine and they could use a hand as well. I would like to help hard working, intelligent, struggling people. Some people may have just made a few not so smart choices years back down the road and have all the potential in the world to be successful if they have a helping hand to get them started.

Funds will go towards a lease, equipment, and establishing credit for the business.
LunchBox will be a lunch time dinning option for the professional world that will serve scratch made foods grilled and roasted. This food service establishment will strive to bring Quality to lunch at a competitive price. Dinning room hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Catering for office parties and other events are offered any times our clients need us on any day. When I am closer to achieving this goal there Will Be a percentage for sale. Long term plans include multiple locations in other cities. Current cities of interest for locations are Gulfport mississippi, Mobile Alabama and Dallas Texas.

2,000sq foot lease with a $2500 budget per month.

$13,000 on equipment if purchased new with warranty

$6000 for my first food and paper goods order.

$2,500 budgeted to network computers and printers.

$10,000 for renovations, sings and menu printing.

$15,000 for payroll, overhead and loan payments.

Estimated complete project cost $49,000

leaving breathing room while establishing our consumer base and focus on a successful launch.... Priceless
