Help us Send Lou and Meg Away

Losing a child isn’t something a person can really prepare for. For those of you who haven’t heard the terrible news, my brother Lou and his girlfriend Meghan have just recently went through this traumatic experience. On March 4th at the hospital they got the devastating news about their baby. At 37 weeks Myla Elizabeth Gonzalez left us for a better place. She was a beautiful baby girl born March 6th at 7lbs and 20 inches long. Although I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet her, just seeing her for the short time that we did changed our families lives forever and she will always have a place in our hearts.
             In the next few weeks we are trying to raise money to send my brother and Meghan away for a little bit to get their minds away from all that has been weighing on them over the last week. I think this will help them get away and give them some time to recharge before getting back to their every day lives. The constant text messages and phone calls have been great but have been a bit overwhelming for them. There’s no better way to show your support than by helping us reach our goal to send them away!
