Friday, July 1st of 2016, Sheila was hit by a car on her bike in Mishawaka. Immediate surgery was needed to save her life as she had a massive amount of brain swelling due to the impact and they had to remove part of her skull. She also suffered serious injuries such as broken facial fractures, broken collarbone, broken nose, and countless bumps and bruises.
Sheila has been in the ICU since the first and is still on a ventilator, unconscious most of the time. She has a long recovery, which is the need for this fundraiser. Her husband, Wayne, is not working very much to be by his wife's side. Therefore, if we could help remove some financial burden off him during this time, it would be so helpful and special for him to be able to relax a little bit, as much as possible during this difficult time, and focus on Sheila's care without worry of paying bills.
The money will go to Wayne and Sheila 100%. Thank you for prayers, visits, and any donation to them. We trust and hope that God has a plan and is walking with them through this. Thank you!
