The Perfect Family

The Perfect Family is a story created by Delena P. Lewis, which was originally her novel. Delena's novel "The Perfect Family" was given recognition when she won the  "Black Excellence Award" for outstanding achievement in literature fiction. Now we are turning the introduction of that novel into a film! Our hopes and aim for the film is to spread awareness on domestic violence, win film contest, get placed on Netflix or HBO, or even get our story picked up by an buyer for a series or trilogy of feauture length films. We need help! Our brilliant producer, Delena Lewis, is paying for all of this out of pocket. It is only so much she can cover, we need help paying our cast and crew, to secure locations, for make-up and wardrobe, for set design, food and travel, fund raising events, and advertisment and distribution. Whatever you can do to help us reach our goal would be greatly appreciated! We will post pics and videos as we continue with production! What is the story?

Herbert Strong and Gail Strong are both in their late 20s, early 30s, and they reside in South Side Chicago with their two boys, Lloyd, 17, and Joe, 13. Herbert has a drinking problem and gets even more abusive when he is drunk. He disrespects Gail and their two sons and doesn't help financially with the bills. While Gail is finding the strength to leave Herbert, Lloyd has plans of his own to rescue his family from Herbert. Lloyd plans lands him in business with the city's most notorious drug dealer, Sunny. Can Lloyd step up at such a early age to rescue his family from father, Herbert? Will Gail find her strength? Let's find out when the movie comes out!
