Jamie Lee was an intelligent and vibrant young woman who passionately stood up for every cause she believed in. She will always be remembered for her intellectual outlooks in life to her funny jokes to simply lending a listening ear.
Her love for learning and encouraging young people will undoubtedly have a lasting effect. Her love for Batman always made her even more enthusiastic.
It was always the simplest things that made her happy such as her dog Harley [named after Harly Quinn], to flowers on a random day just because, to getting "girly gifts" to explore another side of herself.
She perservered her entire life having to secretly deal with Lupus (an autoimmune disease that impacts the inside or outside of your body such as your joints) to being a motivational and inspirational aunt, cousin, friend, and sister.
Because of complications from a surgery, she was not able to survive a hemorrhage that arose. She passed away yesterday, July 9th, 2016. That said, on behalf of the family, we are asking a total amount of $11,000 to cover all funeral costs.
There is no way we could have imagined this day would come so soon, otherwise we would have been better prepared to deal with her funeral expenses. Jamie was gone far too soon and did not deserve to go out this way. It would mean the world for us to see Jamie Lee properly buried, and we greatly appreciate any services [flower arrangements, suggestions, other fundraising opportunities, etc.), donations, and prayers we can get.
