You may hear it all the time. "Youth from broken homes today. It will take a miracle to reach them".
In 2015, Future Leaders Today (FLT), a 501(c)3 non profit, was founded by Christopher H. White with mission to reach youth from broken or challenging backgrounds at high schools in Southeastern PA. Through a mentoring program that builds an understanding of servant leadership as well as a social entrepreneurial approach that encourages networking and entrepreneurship, FLT seeks to build HOPE for the future for these youth.
In one short year, the students from Phoenixville High School in Phoenixville, PA learned and demonstrated Servant Leadership by starting a volunteer Greeter Program at the local hospital. Students met local leaders as wells as attended field trips to meet with executive leadership of the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Union. This past Spring, some students also attended a student leadership weekend conference, the first camp of any kind for them.
Because of our success, FLT is now seeking to grow and expand into a second high school for the school year in 2016. It takes around $5,000 to expand to a new school, so we are looking not just for a miracle, but 50 Miracle Workers to help us get there and continue to change lives.
FLT is looking for 50 "Miracle Workers" who not only think it might take a miracle to turn youth from broken homes around in Southeastern PA....but are willing to "Be One". Please consider a donation of $100 (or more) and being one of the FLT Miracle Workers in 2016.
