I am a private researcher who has taught literacy to a chimpanzee.  My research can benefit people on the autistic spectrum who are non-verbal. I do not have Federal or State funding for this, and all I want is to be left alone on my own property to continue my work with Bow.

However, US Fish & Wildlife have recently declared that chimpanzees are an endangered species in the United States -- even though all chimpanzees in the US are domesticated.  They are not wildlife. And they are certainly not fish! Bow was born and raised in Missouri.  I have taken care of him since he was a month old.

I feel that our only hope is for the Libertarian Party candidates, both on the state and Federal level,to be elected to office. For this reason I want to go to the Libertarian Convention in Orlando, Florida, which will begin May 27, 2016.

I plan to use the least expensive mode of transport and to use inexpensive accommodations. But I must pay for chimp sitting fees, and that is why I am asking for your help.

Bow and I would be very grateful.

Here is more information about me and Bow:

It's been a very exciting time at the Libertarian Party National Convention so far. On the very first day, I got to interview the party chair, Nick Sarwark for LibertyBuzz.

http://libertybuzz.us/story/a-party-of-principles-an-interview-with-nicholas-sarwark/2016/05/28/416/

And right after that interview, Mr. Sarwark introduced me to that presidential candidate who was standing right there. It was Austin Petersen.

Austin and I sat down and talked about letters of marque and repealing the Neutrality Act. He was everything I thought he would be and more! He even admitted that Jefferson became less of a libertarian once president! His knowledge of history is amazing.

Once the convention got underway, there were exciting floor fights about the party platform.

I also got to witness Austin Petersen give an interview to CNN.

And last night there was the presidential debate. Today is the day we cast the ballots!

Lawrence is home with Bow, and I am in telephone contact with him. All is well on the home front. When I return, I will pay Lawrence the second half of his fee. We have nearly met our goal. If you can help a little more, that would be great!

Go Austin Petersen! Liberty awaits!

Thanks so much to all the donors so far! I have paid Lawrence one half his sitting fee, and will be paying the other half on my return from Orlando. So Bow does have a sitter, and will be safe while I go off to the Libertarian National Convention to fight for freedom for us all!

However, I could still use some help with the other half of Lawrence's fee, so if you can, please do. Life will go on after Austin Petersen wins the nomination and begins to run in the general election. We will win!

Great News! I am now officially a full delegate from the State of Missouri to the Libertarian National Convention! This means I get a vote as well as a voice in the choice of the nominee!

Thank you to all my donors! We now stand at 25% of our goal. It is attainable. We can do it! But I still need a little more help, so that I, too, like the fledglings can fly away to Florida! Although, actually, I'm driving. But Bow needs a sitter.
