things needed

My name is Glenn I am a67 yr old cancer patient I have been through many types of chemotherapy and radiation therapy and several hospital and surgery stays in the last 5 years ,the last year has been the worst..1st the treatment I was on stopped working so June 2015 was placed on a chemotherapy that had side effects that was more harmful then good ,so I was placed on a different med in November 2015 took it 3 months and my wife lost job for a month and a half in Feb 2016 didnt have money for Dr and co pays got the flu and got behind on things and behind on treatments.had some things cut off...In May 2016 went and had scans done then saw Oncologist at this point I was told cancers were spreading and also had new tumors in lungs and treatments were not working. He told me that there was one more thing called Stivarga he could do.. it would not cure me but maybe stop any new growth,he said this treatment had a lot of side effects and most people did not live long enough to get it,the medication is very costly 9200 to 14 thousand dollars for 3 weeks and a 600 dollar copay not covered by insurance ..I got my first round of treatments and on week 2 the side effects started on my hands and feet immediately stopping treatments and now am trying to help my feet he is not real hopeful I will be able to continue treatments once I have my feet back in shape if so I will get only half the dose needed if I get to continue..at this point I am seeing oncologist and a podiatrist weekly and my goal is to be as comfortable as possible and be able to just do the things like get a bed that raises up and down because I have been in a recliner for 5 years maybe just a day trip or pay for something as simple as some comfortable socks and shoes and get things fixed that just need done while I can...i can assure you it will be used for a good reason thank you and god bless
