Surgery for Tracker
Donation protected
We rescued Tracker from Peggy Adams Animal League in Febuary of 2015, when we got him he was very malnutrition and he appeared to be very scared and skiddish of people. It took him a while to get acustomed to his new living situation at our home, once he did we could not ask for a better dog. I would never start a campain if it wasnt something that was truly important but I took Tracker to Paws 2 help this morning to get xrays on his legs because he was walking funny. They let me know his patella is popping in and out of place when he walks the surgery is between 1000 and 1200 and the longer I wait the more costly the surgery is going to be and the more pain Tracker will be in. When the kneecap pops in and out of its normal position, the cartilage of the groove and the cartilage under the kneecap rub against each other. Over time, this rubbing causes the cartilage to slowly wear away and arthritis sets in. After a while, the cartilage disappears and we end up with “bone on bone” which is very painful. Any amount will help and I'm just going to do my part and leave the rest up to God thanks in advance.
