Since 2012, I have been helping people overcome personal insecurity that blocked their road to being happy and peaceful. I have worked with adolescents who found themselves in trouble with the law; homeless veterans who found themselves in multiple ways of trouble; and other adults who were troubled with who they were or where they were in their life.
During my time working with mental health organizations who supported the aforementioned clients, I saw organizational strain which stemmed from trying to meet government requirements. Strain came in the form of mental health organizations a.) trying to hide mistakes and flaws from government b.) breaking rules to avoid the pitfalls of government regulation c.) trying to gain maximum profit from taxpayer funds. As a result of mental health organizations partnering with government, strain came in the form of unchecked child abuse and financial fraud.
After much time and thought, I’ve decided I don’t want to be a part of any organization. I can’t justify making a fortune from the misfortune of others. I won’t compromise my integrity and principles as I have seen others do. I will not be a member of an organization filled with insecure people who hide behind arrogance, who refuse to admit fallibility, and which causes the abuse I previously cited.
I’ve listened to people tell me how I’ve helped them a.) renew their hope and positivity b.) create plans that they can build a life on. That’s all I need to know. I know who I am. I have the innate gift to help people self-improve. With my combined academic and clinical experience, I possess the skills and training to help people self-improve, so that is what I will do. I will do it affordably and in favor of the client who trusts me to care about their best interest. I know my client is the expert of their life, while I am being allowed the privilege to act as a consultant.
Please help me make this dream a reality. Please help me help others.
