Hello! My name is Imani Jones, a Sophomore majoring in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University (CAU), and I have some exciting news! It is official! I have been selected as a finalist in the Miss NAACP Pageant at Clark Atlanta University!
It is one of the most prestigious pageants on CAU’s campus and I am honored and excited for this unique opportunity.
At this time, I am asking for your support through contributions to further my progress in this journey, which I am confident will continue to open doors for me during my tenure here at CAU.
If crowned Miss NAACP, I will not only serve as Queen of the second largest organization on CAU’s campus, I will have the help of my title and the NAACP organization, to turn my platform from a dream into a reality.
My platform is R.O.Y.A.L. (Raising Our Youth As Leaders). Standing on my platform, I am determined to use my time as Queen to reach out and impact the youth who may come from underprivileged and/or broken homes and may feel as if they have no role model or inspiration to further their hopes and dreams. I believe our future is our youth! We must educate and be more involved with our youth so they can have the tools and knowledge to advance our future. I am determined to be hands on in the community by visiting local schools, speaking with the youth and trying to guide them onto a pathway of success while thriving for excellence. I am eager to become the catalyst who helps our future leaders become what they desire to be.
A donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated and will go towards the $900 needed to participate in this competition.
