The children of Nepal need our help following on from the devastaing earthquakes in 2015. Our friends at Serang Monastery , also known as Nubri Monastery or Sanchen Rabten Norbuling, have created a temporary school and housing for over 40 children who lost their homes during the earthquake.
It costs US $1 per child per day to provide room, board and schooling. Funds are required now to support these children and to build a formal school in Kathmandu.
My husband and I met one of the senior abbots from the monastery, Nuptul Rinpoche , whilst trekking in Nepal, ten years ago. We have maintained close contact with Nuptul Rinpoche and Karma Rinpoche , and have been fortunate to visit the monastery. Please help us, help Venerable Nuptul Tenpei Nyima Rinpoche provide a home and education for the underpiviledged children of Nepal. No donation is too small.
