Support for Dwaine's Family

My name is Melanie Crane, and as many of you may know, on April 19th 2016, my sister in-law Lori Dalton’s life was turned upside down, when her husband Dwaine, age 39, was involved in a serious car accident on the TCH near Butterpot Park. In that horrific crash were three well known and honored teachers, whom had such a positive impact in the lives of students, family and friends. Sadly two of those teachers were called home leaving Dwaine, the only survivor, still fighting. However, due to the injuries he sustained during the accident Dwaine remains in critical care at the Health Sciences Centre in St. Johns. He is improving daily and we are continuing to pray each and every day that his road to recovery is a smooth one. Lori, along with Dwaine's parents, have been at his bedside each day. Their only concern right now is getting Dwaine back on his feet and home to his family, and especially his 2 children, Daniel and Carson. Lori has taken some time off work to be there for her husband. As well, Dwaine’s parents have temporarily relocated to Mount Pearl to be close to their son. It is unknown when Dwaine will make a full recovery or if he will be able to return to work. So I am setting up this Gofund me account so that Dwaine’s family can continue to be there at his side while he continues his journey toward recovery. We are hoping with your help, that we can all come together and support the Dalton family during this very difficult time. Any donation is greatly appreciated. All we are hoping for is that Lori, and family can be there for Dwaine, without having to worry about the financial stress that they will be faced with over the upcoming months.
