The future of Rachel's children

I would like to introduce you to an amazing women, Rachel. 5 years ago Rachel was diagnosed with primary breast cancer and discovered she was carrying the BRCA2 gene sadly carried by her sister and her late mother.

3 years on and Rachel received the devastating news she had developed secondary breast cancer. Rachel was given only weeks to live without treatment and a maximum of 1 year with treatment. Rachel refused to give up and over the years to come we have watched Rachel fight this devastating illness with not only courage but with strength and fierce determination.

Up until now, we have been positive that Rachel has defied all odds and has beaten cancer. Last week, Rachel received the heart-breaking news that the breast cancer has spread to her brain. The prognosis is devastating.

Rachel is a single mum of two beautiful children, Ava, 10 and Alexander, 7, and this recent news is unbearable to comprehend. Notwithstanding this, we all remain positive and optimistic.

While Rachel and her children have an amazing network of support from both friends and family, the children’s future financial security is understandably a big concern of Rachel’s. For this reason, they need your support.

We are raising money to  go into a trust for  the future education, benefit and support of Rachel’s children. I am asking companies and individuals to please support this fundraiser. Cancer affects all of us, so lets try and support one family who has been affected by cancer on so many different levels.
