Ann Panagakos Library Dedication

This campaign serves as a tribute to our mother, Ann M. Panagakos, and her dedication to help students reach their academic goals. She was an advocate for education and having a strong foundation to help children succeed.  
One of the project's she was unable to complete was to renovate the library at Carl Sandburg Middle School, where she was a Vice Principal.  Her hope was to recreate the library as an updated learning center for the students to utilize on a daily basis.  

Our hope is to create an interactive and creative space for all students to feel welcome and enjoy.  There will be a study center, a lounge, a stage and a foreign language area.  We are excited for her legacy of education and development to live on within the walls of the school she called her home away from home.
