DAAD 2017 BASKETBALL OUTREACH

Mission:   D.A.A.D  is a Christian organization. Our mission is to provide character development skills through mentoring and recreational activities to youth in urban areas throughout the 5 boroughs of New York City. Our goal is to engage hard  to reach youth  ages 12- 18 and  share the gospel message  in a practical way to develop Godly characteristics that will help change  their ways of thinking which will allow them to make better decisions for their future. We aim to show there is a different way of life other than the negativity of the streets, drugs, gangs and the pressures of society  which they face.

 We are trying to raise funds to assist us in purchasing Shirts/ Bible and Trophies  for the  basketball outreaches  to share the Gospel of THE LIFE SAVING message of Jesus Christ and to offer community based linkages, High School and Internship opportunities to the youth of the  East and West Bronx  communities Beginning Saturday April 22nd through August 5, 2017.

Many young people are Losing their Lives on the streets because they believe there is no hope or opportunities. We will share that there is hope in Faith and educational and work opportunities. Any help will be greatly appreciated to help us in our mission to save lives.
